Our goal is to publish our work in the world’s leading scientific journals for reproductive medicine, such as Fertility and Sterility, Human Reproduction and the MEFS Journal.
At RCIH-ART our goal is to help you to achieve pregnancy and take home a healthy baby.
Patients can expect a warm and inviting, yet professional atmosphere.
As a patient, you will have a fertility care team that consists of your physician, a primary nurse, the embryology team and an administrative assistant for financial counseling. This core group consult regularly regarding your individual treatment and will be with you through every aspect of your treatment journey.
We are able to offer you the best of both worlds - individualized and personal care and consistently exceptional pregnancy rates. The ability to achieve this balance comes from a concerted effort to ensure that you have clear points of contact at all times and clearly defined patient care teams.
Your treatment recommendation is based on a variety of circumstances including fertility testing results, age, medical history, previous fertility treatment and personal preferences. With so many variables, it becomes clear why each treatment plan is customized and you can see why it truly becomes impossible to compare one person's progress with another, even though on the surface, their diagnoses may be similar.
“The patient comes first”. We believe that any step we make from the perspective of serving the patient will ultimately benefit us as a practice. Therefore, we emphasize the need to consistently deliver exceptional service from all areas of the organization.
Investing in Education
RCIH-ART is fully committed to ongoing education for physicians, staff, and patients as well. We invest time and resources in each of these activities which include attending conferences and seminars and conducting internal staff education programs. For patients, we offer education through our clinical care team, newsletters and other tools that can be found throughout this website. We feel strongly that it is our responsibility to share information and keep you up to date about new and innovative fertility technologies so that each couple are able to access information and resources to keep the abreast of changes that may impact directly on their treatment.
Identified causes of Infertility
There are many factors that can contribute to the inability to conceive, some of which are easily treatable, without the need for In Vitro Fertilisation. Your Doctor will assess you as a couple, based on many factors, and make recommendations for the type of treatment you will require.
Some of the factors that contribute to infertility include:
- Ovulatory dysfunction
- Tubal blockage
- Pelvic Inflammatory Disease
- Medically/surgically induced infertility
- Recurrent Miscarriage
- Immunological problems
- Hormonal problems
- Unexplained infertility
- Premature Menopause
- Male factor infertility
